This version of FRONTIERS was performed at The Esplanade Concourse (Singapore) as part of the eXchΔnge series of shows. The band invited the audience to participate in the creative process by creating collaborative artworks inspired by the music!

About Cosmic Armchair

Cosmic Armchair is an indie electronic pop duo from Singapore, featuring Cosmic Jane (singer/producer) on vocals and digital visuals, and Cosmic Ben (producer/arranger) on keyboards and touchscreens. They were named one of the ”10 Highlights of Past Baybeats that We’ll Never Ever Forget” on Esplanade’s Baybeats blog.

Cosmic Armchair’s 4 EP’s and one full-length album reveal influences from Tears for Fears, Armin van Buuren, Howard Jones, and St Etienne; fans and critics describe them as a cross between ’90s synth-pop, trance and new wave.

Cosmic Armchair loves to experiment, having collaborated with musicians from Arts Sphere’s pipa, erhu and dizhi trio for On the Waterfront: Singatronica (Esplanade, 2010); with Japanese cult favourite video artists Cobalt Bomb Alpha Omega (Club Batica, Tokyo, and Togo Curry, Chiba, 2016); and with NUS Baba House and Electronic Music Lab for the hybrid Peranakan electronica show Digital Dondang Sayang (NUS Baba House, 2017).
